- Indie Films Channel is one of the fastest growing channels in digital media. Helmed by award winning filmmaker Vicky Khandpur, the channel is a presented by his film production company, Planet Vix - The Independent Film Co. The channel features a mix of content which has been appreciated by critics, masses and classes alike. Be it films with a heart like 'The Price' which addresses the importance of saving water, Post-Rape and Post-Dark which are a satirical take on the rampant issue, or the spine-chilling series 'Horrorscope', all have been well-received by its 65K+ subscribers. With umpteen shares and over 51 million views, the channel strives to be a platform with a conscious. Quirky, satirical and extremely engaging content has been the USP of Indie Films Channel
- Fresh, crisp and contemporary, the forthcoming roll-out is sure to find an appeal across all age groups.
- Apart from this, Indie Films Channel has released its 1st feature film FARZEEN - A CONSPIRACY THEORY on 7th Jan 2017.
- Indie Films Channel is also into distribution of Indie films, made on a micro-budget production and looking for a platform to showcase / release. We have already started a VOD section on our YouTube channel for such films as this could be an additional source of revenue / recovery for those filmmakers.
- We are trying our best to make these films reach the masses and help the filmmakers get their due. In future, we will come up with lots of interesting shows and festivals as well. Stay tuned!
- In its next phase, in keeping with its socially-conscious content, the channel will be showcasing inspirational as well as entertaining, light-hearted films and videos like Baaton Baaton Mein which is Live on their premium networks and YouTube channel. There are many upcoming drama, thriller, suspense and rom-com content coming up on the channel.
